Salt-tolerant Moss at Böddi-szék

A salt-tolerant moss species was found at Böddi-szék. Enthostodon hungaricus is a rare and protected Moss species, it represents charachter species of the halophyte vegetation. The small, only 1 cm tall plant can be seen only in spring, and as the temperature rises, the small rosettes of the Moss disappear, the spores however survive.  Enthostodon hungaricus was described by the Hungarian botanist, Boros Ádám.
